About

I’m Shannon, and I run this place.   That’s me just below on the right.

Like many of you, I am a woman just trying to do the best I can with the immense yet awesome job of mom/wife/woman/family glue.

And although we may seem different…it’s been my experience that at the end of the day we all really just want the same things.  We all just want be healthy and have a great life.  Am I right?

OK…so here’s what I can do for you:

I don’t know everything (although I do sometimes act that way according to my husband) BUT I do know a whole-lot about food, nutrition, the healing properties of foods, what to avoid and what to add in, how to use your food as medicine, what to eat if you have allergies, how to create healthy meals quickly, how to make any “health” food taste damn good and how to make your junk food healthy (click here to learn about my education).  In addition, I am a big ol’ fan of Personal Growth.  I believe that personal growth and breaking out of our comfort zone is a clear pathway to having an awesome life.  I am super passionate about looking at our lives from a holistic perspective and intrigued by how all areas of our lives are interconnected.  Yep, these are my areas of specialty.

I get all revved up and smiley  when I share this info with other women because and I know it’s going to change the course of their health and life and the lives of their loved ones.   All these good feelings are a clear indication to me that I’m on the right track.  I am all about Empowerment, Education, Support and Being the Change that you Want to See in the World.

ALSO be sure to check out  my consulting chef and hottie hubby here.
